Protection of sensitive electronic components by static discharge demands that good practice is employed. While this is primarily an educational issue, essentially the right level of investment in equipment is made to promote the right culture and approach.

ESD seating must demonstrate a sound electrical continuity path that will survive harsh use. Electrical continuity is achieved throughout the structure of the assembly, without earth straps which are prone to damage.

Both surfaces of the seat and back pads are covered in an ESD fabric that contains a continuous carbon filament that will not wear. Non-marking glides are moulded in a conductive polymer ensuring continuity with the conductive elements of antistatic flooring.
